The Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce is the oldest chamber in the Five Cities, celebrating 98 years in 2020. It is the goal of the chamber to support and promote the local business economy as well as the relationship between local businesses and city government. The Pismo Beach Chamber has a unique focus as a small but successful city with a long coastline. Consistently rated as one of the 25 best beaches in California, and number five in California in terms of transient occupancy tax, the success of our membership is inexplicably tied to the nearly 2.5 million visitors to Pismo Beach annually. The chamber exists in service to our business members and their economic success throughout the year -- in high season and low -- and to advocate on their behalf through our strong ties to city counsel and staff.
